Love...

Love is but not just a word
It is d strongest and d most powerful to d entire world
Love bridges d gap between the poor and d rich
It gives no preference to human status

With it the world goes round
Without it, the world stay put
With it the wounded heart gets healed
Without it, a good heart gets decayed.

Love is sweet, love is caring
Love is lovely, love is good
Love is willing, love is patience
Love is acceptance, love is trust

Love is two bodies living as one
Two souls with a single thought
Love is two hearts that beats as one
It flows like a river and never looks back

Love is d most important word letters could form
God loves the world and gave us His son
I love u and I give myself to you
Love is you and meeeeeee

Every hearts wants to love and to be loved,
“I LOVE U WITH ALL MY HEART”

So far...so good!

I give glory to God for keeping me alive this far, I got to the office this morning and was wondering where I would have been if not for Him who kept me and guide me from the evil lions of this world. The Yoruba adage says “he who knows how to think deeply will surely realise how good our God is” and that is what I’ve done, I looked at my right and left, front and back and I realized how God has been so faithful to me from d day 1 of my life, my family and friends. I did not pay him a kobo for the breath I breath neither did I pay a dime for being alive and walking.

Going by the plans of the devil for my life, I know he never wanted me this good but God has the final say…He turns my life around and makes a way where there seem to be no way, he silenced the enemy and commanded peace to be still when the enemies came like a raging storm. He never sleep nor slumber on anything concerning me, He fought for me when I had no strength and sees for me when my sight seemed lost. God is indeed good to me.

For all I am today, who I am, where I am and where you are taking me to, I say thank you Jesus ‘cos I know that all I’ve prayed for that you are yet to do is not because you cannot do them but only waiting for the right time for me…I give you glory because so far…it's been so good.

Cultism in Nigerian Institution...

Observing the Nigerian institution at large, it is certain and obvious that there is no institution where cultism does not exist. This issue of cultism in Nigerian institution is so rampant and alarming, it has also overgrown wings which seems to be the level at which students operate and carry out their activities.
Secret cults started as fraternity with the intention of maintaining law and order in the public and on the campuses in order to allow peace rain, they came into existence with the aim of addressing acts of injustice, cases of victimization and other issues capable of disturbing the peaceful atmosphere of the university community. But nowadays it has turned otherwise; they are the one causing confusion on our campuses; threatening, killing harassing and victimizing their fellow students without a tangible reason.
Based on my personal observation on why students join cultism? I realized that many students join cult for different reasons, “different stroke for different folks” some joined because they wanted to have back up in school and they want to be popular, and many joined because of their stupidity and lack of good orientation from their home.
It is not a curse that cultism can never be eradicated in our institutions because those people that are to help in fighting against this evil act like the Vice Chancellors, professors, top lecturers and co. in our institutions are discovered to be the grand patron and matron of this unprofitable evil society. Taking for instance what happened at Obafemi Awolowo University (O.A.U) some years ago, when a group of cultist were caught and maximally tortured, they confessed by giving the Student Union Government’s disciplinary committee names of some powerful professors, lecturers and above all, the then Vice Chancellor to be their back bone on which they survive their evil act in the school. So what are we saying? Or how then can we curb the evil act?
The curbing of cultism in Nigerian institutions is rightly in the hand of each parent and Federal Government, parents should give their children a very sound and useful orientation about cultism and let them know the danger behind being a cultist before they leave home for school because I believe that “He who lacks orientation lacks foresight” and once foresight is lost nothing can be seen again. The government should make sure that there is an organized security body on each campus (Cultist Eradication Organization) whose aim is to be guiding against cultism in the institution. Also, seminar should be organized for the new students on cultism immediately they are admitted before they missed up with the bad heads.
Our youth should know that being a cultist is a sin before God and men, they should look for the way forward, they should look for better organization to join if they are so much interested in joining any. Here in University of Ilorin we have JUNIOR CHAMBERS INTERNATIONAL (J.C.I), GLADIATORS, I.S.E.C, ROTARACT, THE ACCOMPLISHERS, BUSINESS SURGEON e.t.c. All these are profitable organizations to join rather than evil and unprofitable organizations as always said by my father that “if people can not praise you for what you are doing, why not change for the better”. Our youth should be very careful of the friends they keep on campus because many cultists today on our campuses were influenced by their friends “If your friends can’t change you for better why not change your friends”. Our youth should understand the simple logic that anything u are doing that you cannot openly is bad. Being in cult can cut your life anytime unexpectedly. It is dangerous, it affects one in all ways emotionally, academically, no rest and can’t even sleep with the two eyes closed.
Finally, I implore people within and outside our campuses that are like god father and mother to this evil act to please repent and turn a new leaf for we shall all give account of everything we do on earth and to remember the seven letters word NEMESIS it will surely catch. Cultism is not the way forward abstain from it because it is as dangerous as HIV virus.
SHUN CULTISM IN NIGERIAN INSTITUTIONS!

LONG LIVE UNILORIN, LONG LIVE NIGERIAN INSTITUTIONS.
